MediaTek outstripped Qualcomm and became the biggest smartphone chipset vendor, according to Counterpoint. The chipmaker gained 31-percent market share in the third quarter of 2020.

Sony Xperia 1 V launch date has been announced by the company, and the next "One" branded smartphone is set to make its debut next month. While the company is yet to reveal details of its upcoming phone, leaked renders have already given us a sneak peek at the handset as well as its specifications.
